KHS campus in Frankfort welcomes 50,000+ tourists, scholars, genealogists, and schoolchildren annually to experience the Kentucky culture, solve family history queries, conduct research, participate in family activities, and attend history-focused events. We annually serve over 1 million people through social media, downloads, website visits, and access to our online collections. We also have over 2,400 historical markers placed statewide, with info available on our website and marker app. Our approach involves interactive, learner-driven experiences that showcase historical information and teach skills relevant to today's world.
