You will see many treasures from the commonwealth during your visit to the Kentucky Historical Society. Before you leave, commemorate your visit with a treasure of your own, purchased from the Stewart Home School 1792 Store.

We carry a variety of items designed for kids to seniors. You’ll find high-quality Kentucky crafted products, including jewelry, ceramics, ornaments, wooden toys and kitchen tools. Have you had trouble locating that book on Kentucky that you’ve sought? Check with us. Genealogists – we have large pedigree charts, storage containers and how-to books. And, of course, we have an ample selection of items about and featuring Abraham Lincoln.

The Stewart Home School 1792 Store is located on the first floor of the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History.

Educators – You deserve a break when it comes to purchasing classroom materials. We offer teachers a 20 percent discount on items purchased for in-class use from the 1792 Store. We carry young reader books and kits on Kentucky, the Civil War, Lincoln, Civil Rights and more. Teacher suggestions are welcome as we build our Teacher Resources area.
