Nathaniel Baker
Genealogy Engagement Specialist
Nate inherited his love of local history from his parents and their vivid stories of growing up in eastern Kentucky. Outside of books, movies, and video games, he loves diving into Kentucky rabbit holes to see what niche lore he can get lost in. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public History in 2019 and has worked in both library and museum settings with a focus on engaging with Kentucky’s varied past. Always excited to share stories of the Commonwealth, he loves collaborating with others to expand upon Kentucky history. Staff member since 2026.
