As a lifelong Kentuckian, Clay is proud to take part in the preservation and interpretation of the state’s rich history. Clay studied History and Anthropology at Transylvania University and received his Master of Arts in History from the University of Kentucky in 2025. Clay processes and catalogs the KHS’s archival collections, both old and new, so that the public and other staff can find them, access them, and understand their historical context. In his spare time, Clay enjoys listening to and playing music, playing pickup basketball, reading fantasy novels, being outdoors, and spending time with his cat, Tofu. Staff member since 2026.
