Allen Fletcher
Associate Editor, The Register of the Kentucky Historical Society
A native of Breathitt County, Allen is a lifelong resident of Kentucky. As associate editor of The Register of the Kentucky Historical Society, he is excited to share the history of his home state. He holds degrees from Transylvania University (BA, history and music performance) and the University of Kentucky (MA and PhD, history), specializing in modern US history and Appalachia. When not reading and writing history, you can find Allen playing the organ for various churches and choirs across central Kentucky.
