We are excited to announce the reopening of the Old State Capitol and the Kentucky Military History Museum on Tuesday, September 8. For hours and admission prices, see here. We also encourage you to purchase tickets online in order to ensure a contact-free transaction at our welcome desk. What can you expect from your visit? Our plan for reopening meets Team Kentucky’s Healthy-at Work guidelines and follows the American Alliance of Museums recommendations for reopening museums. Visitors can expect clear and comfortable guidance throughout their experience, with plenty of assistance from our knowledgeable and friendly staff. Expectations include detailed instruction regarding masks, social distancing, sanitation and hygiene, increased cleaning & disinfecting schedules, and limited crowd capacity. While the days of immersive interactives are on hold, we maintain our commitment to engaging learning experiences.
