Jacksonian Hotel

Built in 1919 during an oil boom, Jacksonian gained wide prominence. It was third hotel on site and stood here for 54 years. Closed in 1973. Hotel received name because of its location on Jackson Highway, now 31-E, one of oldest roads in Kentucky. This was route Andrew Jackson sometimes traveled between Nashville and Washington, D.C. Presented by the Scottsville Woman's Club.
