GRASSY SPRING CHRISTIAN CHURCH A non-denominational meeting house was built here ca.1798 when Thos. Henton & Richard Fox each gave a corner of their land for the church. The original log structure was replaced with a brick building in 1827. After hearing the preaching of Alexander Campbell and Barton Stone in 1830, the congregation voted to become the Grassy Spring Christian Church.

GRASSY SPRING CHRISTIAN CHURCH The last brick structure was built on the property ca. 1870 but it burned in the late 1930s. In 1896, this church helped estab. Millville Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), and, in the 1970s, they bought the Grassy Spring property and the two churches merged. The cemetery is the only thing that remains from Grassy Spring Church. Sponsored by Millville Christian Church Dedicated August 26, 2018
