Reverse Description:
The mill contains logs from Kentucky’s first steam mill, Buffalo Mill, ca. 1848, and has always stood as a dominant town figure from its location above Main Street. Its piercing whistle once served as a signal for miles around Stanford, letting workers, farmers, and townspeople know it was time for a meal.
