Snapshots of History (Rotating Exhibit)
Snapshots of History - on exhibit through November 1.
This rotating exhibit is displayed in the Martin F. Schmidt Research Library, located on the second floor of the Kentucky Historical Society's Kentucky History Center.
History is more than just a series of events; it is a record of the many narratives and lived experiences of people through time. Just like Kentuckians of the present, people in the past used photography to capture memories and to express themselves. The Kentucky Historical Society strives to capture the history of Kentuckians and their experiences through its collection. The photographs in this collection offer a snapshot of collective and individual histories, from a local to a global scale.
