Bourbon & Bluegrass (Rotating Exhibit)

Located in A Kentucky Journey at the Kentucky History Center.

Bourbon may be made anywhere, but 95% of it comes from Kentucky. From its debated beginnings in 1789 to today’s global fame, bourbon has shaped our land, our people, and our economy. Farmers once relied on it to move corn to market, and generations have perfected the craft using Kentucky’s unique water, soil, and climate. Today, it remains one of the state’s most iconic exports. Visit our latest display to explore just a few of the hundreds of bourbon-related treasures in our collection.
