Celebrate the running of the roses, Frankfort style! KHS joins community partners for the Downtown Derby Celebration in historic downtown Frankfort, beginning at 9 am on Derby Day. KHS will host family activities on the Old State Capitol lawn, including hat-making, decorating jockey silks, stick horse races, and learning about the great traditions of our world-famous Kentucky Derby. There will be lots to see and do at this exciting community event, so bring a blanket and settle in for a day of historic fun.
