This session explores the vital importance of waterways in Kentucky's history, geography, and economy. Participants will learn about the cultural significance of rivers in local communities and how they impacted settlement. Through the six principles of place-based education, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the role of waterways in shaping Kentucky's landscape and heritage.
