Riley Bryson

Museum Educator

Inspired by a YA fantasy novel set in Victorian London and her high school junior-year history teacher, Riley ditched her new medical school dreams for an old love for History. Growing up with her nose in the Magic Tree House books imagining she got the opportunity to time travel, a career in museums just felt natural; as going through museums is the closest thing she will get to time travel, at least in her lifetime. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Kentucky in 2024, and completing a curatorial internship at Ashland, Henry Clay Estate, she found herself immersed in the exhibits of KHS, ready to share the magic of museums to other learners like herself. Passionate about making history accessible and easy to understand while giving it the nuance it deserves, she hopes that visitors will take away something that resonates with them personally.

When she’s not planning her next mission to another time period she wants to visit, you can find her gaming (although not very good at it) and spending time with friends.
