Liz Mehrmann
Exhibits Manager
Liz worked as a designer in Kansas City, MO for over a decade then pivoted her creative skillset to exhibition design. Museums have always been her happy place, and creating interactive and engaging spaces for museum learners sounded like perhaps the coolest job in the world. She obtained her master’s degree in Museology from UW Seattle in 2022 with an emphasis on equity, accessibility, and community engagement. In 2023 she relocated to Frankfort to be the KHS Exhibits Manager, and it is indeed a ‘cool job’. Outside of museums, Liz enjoys birding, hiking, roller skating, and whispering sweet nothings to her house plants. Staff member since 2023.
