Johannah’s role at KHS is to facilitate greater patron access to oral histories and analog collections. Johannah has always been interested in reading and storytelling from an early age and enjoys using oral history as a platform through which marginalized populations can tell their stories. Johannah’s primary job responsibilities are to digitize and coordinate oral history interviews and to assist patrons with their research needs at the Martin F. Schmidt Research Library. Prior to joining KHS, Johannah worked as a Library Assistant at the Louie B. Nunn Center for Oral History at the University of Kentucky. Johannah holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science in Library Science from the University of Kentucky. Johannah is fluent in Spanish and enjoys swimming and traveling in her free time.
