The Kentucky Sestercentennial Commission is established to plan and implement events leading up to the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, July 4, 2026.

Upcoming Meetings

The America250KY Commission will hold its next meeting on Friday, February 17, at 1 pm at the Eastside Branch of the Lexington Public Library. This meeting will be held in person and is open to the public and media. Any person wishing to attend and present a matter to the America250KY Commission at this meeting should submit via email a request in writing that includes the full details of their presentation to America250KY Commission Administrator Tyler McDaniel at by no later than Noon on Wednesday, February 15.
