Explore authentic, honest, and inventive explorations of diverse people who have achieved greatness in Kentucky through new materials, lesson plans, exhibits, and resources.

Heritage Tourism

Enhance tourism efforts that reflect multiple facets of U.S. history. These could be locally specific or across a broader geographic area with unifying focuses. Utilize multiple partners to develop official materials and wayfinding signage.

Events

Both bigger celebrations and series of smaller events will serve many purposes. Larger community-wide celebrations are anticipated, as are speaker series, performances, and specific thematically linked programming.

Legacy

Create partnerships and programs that will persist beyond the official 250 celebration in 2026.
