John Wooleston Tibbatts, Democrat, served in Congress from 1843-1847. He sponsored bill to annex Texas. He voted to declare war on Mexico, then enlisted & fought in Mexico. Thomas Laurens Jones, Democrat, served in Congress 1867-71 and 1875-77. Unsuccessful as Democratic nominee for Ky. governor in 1883.
