KHS HistoryMobile

Kentuckians love basketball, and this exhibit: “100 Years of High School Basketball in Kentucky” will sweep up fans of all ages in the sights and sounds of the game.

High school basketball is more than a game that ends with the final buzzer. For 100 years, it has built community, taught life lessons and brought unimagined opportunities to the people who have played it.

Celebrate high school basketball with KHS and HistoryMobile partner, the Kentucky High School Basketball Hall of Fame.

The HistoryMobile will be at games across the Commonwealth throughout the next three high school basketball seasons. Admission is free, and the exhibit is open from one hour before tip-off to 30 minutes past the final buzzer. During the offseason, the HistoryMobile will be available for appearances at other venues.

More than 1 million Kentuckians have experienced the HistoryMobile since it first went on the road in 1973, and, through its exhibits, have explored Kentucky’s history in the context of their own lives.
