We can subsidize the cost of KHS admission and educational programs.
Each year, the Elizabeth Lloyd “Libby” Jones Student Scholarship Fund supports school field trips to the Kentucky Historical Society for qualifying schools and their teachers. Scholarship funds subsidize the cost of KHS admission and educational programs for students at-risk or from low-income districts.
Qualifications
- Title I school
- A homeschool qualifies when eligible for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).
Application
Scholarships are confirmed for applicants as a $0 balance in the school's confirmation invoice.
Remember: Regular school group admission is $5/person and includes all three KHS sites. Virtual field trip options are $75/session, and Traveling Trunks are $100 + return shipping.
Applications are due three (3) weeks before your requested visit date.
Don't forget to submit the request form for the educational program to which you want your scholarship applied.
