The founding of the United States and Kentucky was a revolutionary experiment in self-governance. Throughout the week, campers will delve into the lives of Kentucky’s founding mothers and fathers and explore how the Revolution influenced our state!
Campers will:
- “Meet” some of Kentucky’s most notable figures, like Daniel Boone and Isaac Shelby
- Investigate the diverse groups that inhabited Kentucky prior to Colonial settlement
- Experience frontier life through hands-on activities like bookbinding and candle-making
Join us in celebrating America’s 250th birthday while discovering the rich beginnings of Kentucky!
*This camp is designed for children between the ages of 6 and 9.
