Harlan Co, USA revolutionized documentary filmmaking through its immersive cinema verité approach, capturing a visceral, unfiltered look at the 13-month Brookside Mine strike.
Academy Award-winning filmmaker Barbara Kopple will join us for this special screening, where she will receive the Fred Mills Award for Outstanding Contributions to Film in Kentucky.
Twelve Lions Film Festival is a project of the historic Kentucky Theatre in Lexington, Kentucky.
