The stage is set for another unforgettable day of music, food, and community as the Duncan Hines Days team announces the official lineup for the Eats & Beats Music Fest, returning to Circus Square Park on Saturday, June 6, 3-10pm, in Downtown Bowling Green. The festival is free and open to the public, offering a full day of live music, food trucks, family activities, and interactive art celebrating Kentucky’s rich musical heritage.

As part of the Duncan Hines Days celebration and a local nod to the upcoming America 250 anniversary, Eats & Beats is highlighting Kentucky musicians whose sounds reflect the traditions that define the Americana genre and the spirit of Duncan Hines’ storytelling. From emerging artists to nationally-recognized performers, the 2026 lineup brings together a diverse group of performers with deep ties to the Commonwealth. This year’s featured artists include:

  • BG Rock Band Academy – A Bowling Green-based youth music program that showcases the next generation of Kentucky musicians through high-energy live performances.
  • Fat Box – Hailing from Bowling Green, Fat Box blends Americana, alt-country, and roots rock into a powerful regional sound that has made them a staple of Kentucky’s live music scene.
  • Jaid Joice – A rising country and Americana artist originally from Eastern Kentucky whose soulful voice and honest songwriting have gained national attention after appearing on The Voice.
  • The Damn Shames – Based in Lexington, this energetic Americana and rock band mixes southern rock, blues, and country influences into a gritty, high-octane performance style.
  • Elvie Shane – The nationally recognized country and Americana artist from Caneyville, whose breakout hit “My Boy” and heartfelt songwriting make him one of the Commonwealth’s most celebrated modern storytellers.

In addition to live music, Eats & Beats Music Fest will feature dozens of local food trucks, inflatables for kids, and an interactive community art mural inviting festivalgoers to contribute their own creative mark during the event.

Community partnerships make the festival possible, with sponsors bringing this free, accessible event to life, including the City of Bowling Green, Warren County, Blue Level Productions, Tess Event Consulting, and White Squirrel Brewery. The Law Firm of Flora T. Stuart once again hosts the Kids’ Zone, featuring balloon art, games, and free family activities designed to ensure something fun for every age. Thanks to Conagra Foods and Houchens Food Group, Duncan Hines baking mixes will be given away at this event while supplies last.

Eats & Beats Music Fest is part of the week-long Duncan Hines Days celebration, highlighting food, recreation, music, and community experiences inspired by the legacy of America’s original road trip food guide pioneer, Duncan Hines.
