Virtual Summer Camp

Make, play, and investigate your way through history at camp, our signature week-long program for youth ages 5-12. Participants explore all corners of KHS exhibits, meet special guest speakers, collaborate with new friends, create art inspired by history, and engage in hands-on games and activities during our camps.  With small class sizes, quality supplies, and top-notch teachers, we guarantee campers will have a great time learning about Kentucky history!

Virtual Summer Camps

The Kentucky Historical Society staff continues to think of new ways to reach our audience while they are healthy at home. In an effort to do so, we are taking our summer camp ONLINE!

Virtual summer camps will come with a “camp kit” full of crafts and activities based on a weekly theme, along with access to a wide variety of related digital resources and supplementary materials. Camp kits generally include all activity materials that are not readily found around the home.

Our museum educators will meet with campers daily from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. via Google Classroom to lead activity instruction and virtually tour the museums. Kits can be picked up at the History Center for FREE or shipped out for an additional fee.

Please direct all questions about camp to Julie Sawnor, Camp Coordinator.

Register for one week, two weeks, etc., or pick all six!
