Brian Trump

As a member of the Civil War Governors of Kentucky team, Brian is committed to public humanities and making the history of Kentucky accessible and engaging to audiences both in and outside the state. An historian of the 19th and 20th century United States, his research focuses on law, gender, and violence. Prior to joining KHS, Brian received his PhD from the University of Kansas, and he has held positions with Humanities Kansas and NOTCHES: (re)marks on the history of sexuality.
