Ashley has loved Kentucky history from a young age. She was first introduced to history by participating in historic reenactments with her parents. She furthered her interest as a proud member of the Kentucky Junior Historical Society throughout her elementary school days. She is a voracious reader, insatiably curious, and is always looking to promote and research local Kentucky history. Ashley received her B.A. in History, B.A. in Anthropology, and M.A. in Public History from Northern Kentucky University. Ashley serves as the America250KY Research Specialist and is excited to bring Kentucky history to life for everyone. Staff member since 2023.
