Celebrate the Run for the Roses with historic Kentucky traditions and fun family activities! The Kentucky Historical Society (KHS) is partnering with the community for the Downtown Derby Celebration in historic downtown Frankfort. This exciting, family-friendly event will feature plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy, so be sure to bring a blanket and have a picnic on the lawn of the Old State Capitol. We’ll offer a hat-making and decoration station, as well as an origami rose station.
