Andi grew up in southern Kentucky and spent time with her family visiting numerous parks that gave her an early appreciation for history and nature. She has worked for state and national parks, including Natural Bridge State Resort Park and Mammoth Cave. It gave her a chance to share her passion for history and to be a steward of Kentucky's story to visitors from all over the world. Andi's role as the Museum Programs Coordinator for the Old State Capitol is an opportunity to share the stories and people of the past, and focus on new initiatives including civics education. She holds a master’s degree in Park and Recreation Administration from Eastern Kentucky University.
