Join us as we travel through time and explore the traditions that make winter holidays so magical. Make delicious treats from decades past, build your own vintage toy, create historic decorations, share the season's lore, and play games that have entertained children since 1792!
8 AM – 9 AM Drop-Off, Camp 9 – 4 PM, Pick-Up 4 PM – 4:30 PM

Monday, December 19 - The History of Winter Foods
Learn about artisanal baking, ginger, and other spices that make the season pop! Activity: Baking
Tuesday, December 20 - The History of Gift Giving
Great gifts from the pioneer era to the 1990s. Activity: Gift Making
Wednesday, December 21 - The History of Winter Decorating
Learn how ancient peoples and Kentucky locals have used pine and natural materials to bring the solstice season to life! Activity: Wreath Making
Thursday, December 22 - The History of the Winter Solstice
Hear tales associated with the changing of seasons. Activity: Candle Making
Friday, December 23 - The History of Winter Games
Learn about Kentucky holiday celebrations. Activities: Music and Holiday Games
Masks are optional. Registration closes the Wednesday before each camp week starts. Registrants will be notified in advance if camp is canceled due to health and safety policies, and all camp fees will be refunded. Registrants requesting a refund up to two weeks before camp will be refunded minus a $30 processing fee. Refund requests within two weeks of camp or during camp will be considered case-by-case.
