In late January 1860, Thomas Wadlington brutally killed his neighbor, Milton Cartwright. Bound together by familial bonds, their deadly clash divided Western Kentuckians; some sought clemency, others demanded his execution. Join as Dr. Chuck Welsko shares Wadlington’s tragic story.
Dr. Chuck Welsko is Project Director for the Civil War Governors of Kentucky Documentary Edition at the Kentucky Historical Society.
