T.R.M. Howard: Important Civil Rights Leader

Kentucky native T.R.M. Howard founded black community organizations, organized civil rights rallies and boycotts, mentored Medgar Evers, antagonized the KKK and helped lead the fight for justice for Emmett Till.

Drs. David T. Beito, University of Alabama, and Linda Royster Beito, Stillman College, shine a light on his life and accomplishments in their new book T.R.M. Howard: Doctor, Entrepreneur, Civil Rights Pioneer. They will share his story at this Food for Thought.
