Off the Grid with the Boones

REGISTRATION CLOSED July 17-21 | Ages 6-8

Could you survive in the wilderness like the pioneering families of early Kentucky?

Teacher: Megan Sauter

Students will work in teams to build a homestead inspired by tools and skills of the past, use modern sustainable gardening techniques and building crude and complex shelters for survival. Plan for students to get a little dirty and muddy. (This class was so much fun with our older students during Spring Break that we redesigned it for younger students.)
