Gizmos and Gadgets Galore: Kentucky Hosts the Southern Exposition
Between 1883 and 1887, thousands of people came to Louisville for the Southern Exposition, one of the largest displays of technology the world had ever seen. Students will explore this milestone event using objects and images from KHS collections, and will be inspired to create their own inventions! We’ll end the class with our own “Southern Exposition,” displaying participants’ work.
