Food For Thought: Measuring the Universe with Twigs & Eclipses

Just days before the Aug. 21 solar eclipse bathes part of Kentucky in darkness, join us to hear Transylvania University professor Jamie Day explain how the ancient Greeks used eclipses to measure the size of the solar system.

Day blends history and science in his physics classes and as curator of the Monroe Moosnick Medical and Science Museum.

Lunch included.
