Family Workshops: Hard Times in the Bluegrass
Through documents and artifacts in the KHS collection, students will share in the challenges Kentuckians experienced through economic depression and wartime in the 1930s and ’40s. We’ll also discover some of the ingenious tricks they devised to help provide for their families and make life easier!
Best for ages 6-12, but all ages are welcome!
$10 per family – one adult and up to two children. $5 for each additional participant. Members receive $5 off total registration.

Payment is due the day of the workshop. Workshops begin at the front desk of the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History.
