DNA Interest Group (DIG) Book Club

Get in on the conversation about DNA and its connection to genealogy and join our DNA Interest Group (DIG) Book Club Edition.

For nine months, we’ll discuss these books:

Beginner Level Book:

The Family Tree Guide to DNA Testing and Genetic Genealogy by Blaine Bettinger

Advanced Level Book:

Genetic Genealogy in Practice by Blaine Bettinger and Debbie Parker Wayne

Pick your level and register for that class. Seating is limited and each class is capped at 20 participants.

It is your responsibility to acquire the book that will be discussed in the class you selected. Either print or electronic format is fine. Some print copies may be available in our 1792 Store closer to the start of classes.

Seating is limited – so please register for your class choice prior to the event!

Each DNA Interest Group session is Free for KHS members OR part of the KHS’ general admission. Please pre-register by calling the KHS Refdesk at 502-782-8080 or by e-mailing us at: khsrefdesk@ky.gov

Note: We plan to repeat this series next year, so those in the beginner class can take the advanced level in 2020.)
