Camp Artyfact: Silly Stories & Campfire Tales

The fire’s crackling, the stars are out and the owls are hooting so grab a spot on a log and gather around the campfire for story time. Campers in this class will learn about the stories and folktales commonly told around campfires and use techniques including shadows, sounds, and movement to act out the stories themselves. With help from the instructor, students will develop characters and settings to add to the telling and will gain confidence in the ability to remember a story from heart so they can share it on their next campfire adventure. Don’t forget the s’mores!

For students ages 5-8.
