Camp ArtyFact: Fabulous Foods

Calling all kid cooks and food fanatics! Eat your way through the decades with us–sip a Shirley Temple from the 20s, concoct a Depression-era meal with limited ingredients, grow a WWII victory garden, bite into “fast prep foods” from the 50s, and discover the chefs and foods that are homegrown Kentucky. The last day of camp promises a tasting party for friends and family!
Extended care is available mornings from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and afternoons from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for $15 each per week. Care is also available in between our morning and afternoon camp sessions, from noon to 1 p.m., at $10 per week for campers registered half days and free for campers registered full days.
Cost: $80 per student/$75 for members
Payment: A $15 non-refundable deposit is due to hold each camp registration. The balance is due the first day of camp. Registration required no later than three days before the class. Space is limited.
All classes begin by checking in your child at the front desk of the Kentucky History Center.
