Hello from College Park, Maryland!

Day 1 of judging has wrapped up for Kentucky! Today saw all of our 6th-8th grade students from Henderson, Jefferson, Fayette, Franklin, Knott, and Pendleton counties showing their projects to judges from all over the United States.

Everyone represented Kentucky fantastically on a national stage.. We are super proud of their hard work and commitment to their projects.

We didn’t let a little rain stop us from having a great day with the students!

In fact History Day has put a little over 14 miles on my shoes in two days!

Check out some photos from some of today’s participants. Follow us on twitter @KyHistSoc or Facebook at www.facebook.com/kyjhs for updates tomorrow!
