We hope that you will apply to be part of the 2013 class of NEH Landmarks of American History and Culture Teacher Workshops at the Kentucky Historical Society. This exciting and informative week long workshop, entitled “Torn Within, Threatened Without: Kentucky and the Border States in the Civil War,” is funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities Landmarks of American History and Culture program. It will be offered twice during the summer of 2013:
- Sunday, June 23 to Saturday, June 29
- Sunday, July 14 to Saturday, July 20.
The Kentucky Historical Society is sponsoring these engaging workshops in cooperation with historic sites and museums in the commonwealth that will be visited during the week. Workshop sessions on and off campus will be conducted by leading scholars in the field who are experienced in working with educators.
